About Kinword

Kinword is a small planning and practice tool for families. It is made and run by WeldonPC.com, a computer service company in Northeast Ohio. Kinword is meant to help a family have the conversation before a call comes, not after.

What Kinword is not

• Not a legal guardianship, conservatorship or power of attorney. Those are made through a court or a lawyer.
• Not Adult Protective Services, the police or any government office. The help numbers page lists them.
• Not a call-blocking app. Nothing on your phone is changed.
• Not a bank, and it never handles anyone's money.

Where the practice calls come from

Every practice call is written for this site. The callers are made up and no real company or person is named. The patterns follow the public warnings that consumer-protection agencies publish about impostor calls, and every practice call links to the warnings it is based on. The full list is on the practice calls page.

The address

Kinword is independent. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by the Cleveland Guardians, Cleveland Guardians Baseball Company, Major League Baseball or Guardians Roller Derby. clevelandguardians.co is only this site's address.
